Energy Savings Grants

At Outlook Energy Solutions, we’re keen to stay up-to-date with the latest energy-saving grants throughout the UK. Whether we’re installing internal wall insulation with the help of the Great British Insulation Scheme or installing a new boiler via the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, our team of professionals is on hand to support you.

Why do we offer energy-efficient grants?

All of the energy efficiency measures we implement in people’s homes around the UK are designed to lower energy bills and improve your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating. Things like air source heat pumps, solid wall insulation, external wall insulation, and low-carbon heating systems are installed to lift low-income households out of fuel poverty and provide homeowners with energy-efficient homes.

Outlook Energy Solutions’ energy-saving grants

The following government-backed grants are currently available with our team of professionals:

Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme can cover part of the cost of replacing fossil fuel heating systems with a heat pump or biomass boiler.

This grant, which is open to people in England and Wales, can be used to replace a heating system in either your home or a building used for your business.

You can get one grant per property. Current grants are available for:

  • £7,500 towards an air source heat pump
  • £7,500 towards a ground source heat pump (including water source heat pumps and those on shared ground loops)
  • £5,000 towards a biomass boiler

Great British Insulation Scheme

The Great British Insulation Scheme is a new government energy efficiency scheme administered by Ofgem that’s designed to provide energy-efficient improvements to UK homes to tackle fuel poverty.

The scheme complements the Energy Company Obligation scheme, but it mostly delivers single insulation measures, unlike ECO4’s ‘whole house’ approach.

ECO4 Scheme

The ECO4 scheme provides grants to fund energy-efficient upgrades to homes, reducing emissions, electricity and energy bills.

You may be eligible if:

  • You are on income-related benefits or living on a low income
  • Your home has an energy rating of E or below
